Responsys Named a Leader In Email Marketing
In the January 2012 report, Responsys was ranked a Leader for the fourth consecutive time since 2005. According to Forrester, “Responsys lands as a Leader in the study most notably for its flexible data model, which allows users to self-define segment parameters while a campaign is running, and for its leadership and clear product and international vision.”
“Consistently one of the best applications we evaluate, this vendor sets the bar for others with its capabilities for supporting dynamic queries and its flexible data model.”
“The vendor’s technology platform trumps the others we evaluated because of its extremely flexible data model, high volume of data storage, and support for compliance.”
“The company’s vision is to ‘automate and optimize relationship marketing programs, beginning with email, mobile, social, Web and display advertising. And the vendor tells us that “going cross channel is making us a better email company. We believe it.’”
The only vendor to achieve a perfect score (5.00/5.00) in the Strategy category, Responsys received perfect scores in all four subcategories: Executive Vision, Development Strategy, Global Strategy, and Strength of Management Team.
Responsys also received the highest score in the Technology Platform category, citing “Its current offering is 18 months ahead of the Contenders’.”

Responsys named a ‘Visionary’ in 2012 Magic Quadrant for CRM Multichannel Campaign.
Responsys moves in both execution and vision and becomes a visionary player as it moves towards a digital approach towards Multichannel Campaign Management (MCCM).
Last year’s additions to the Responsys offering included, most notably, display re-targeting capability through Interact Display, more advanced analytic capability such as Winner Selection/Program Optimization decisioning type capability that tests message timing, channel and frequency, as well as testing for different types of content.
References consistently point to Responsys as having met or exceeded expectations for the offering as a whole.
